To support the client's continued business growth without compromising service quality, increase warehouse throughput, adapt the infrastructure to higher cargo volumes, and align processes with the requirements of major federal retail chains.
NOYTECH has been working with Lorenz for more than 12 years, providing warehouse handling and logistics support for the company's products. During this time, the client's business has grown significantly, requiring the expansion of warehouse infrastructure and the optimization of operational processes.
To support the growing volumes, the operational and storage areas were expanded by 450 m². This increased warehouse throughput and ensured stable receiving and shipping operations even during peak periods.
At the same time, NOYTECH specialists optimized warehouse operations. The product storage logic was revised, goods were divided into dedicated storage groups, and new order-picking routes were developed. This helped accelerate order fulfillment and improve picking accuracy by optimizing the picking sequence — from heavier items to lighter ones.
Another key area of the project was adapting processes to the requirements of major retail chains. For customers including Tander, Yandex Lavka, and Lenta, an updated packing list with an expanded set of data was developed. SSCC codes and EDI messages were also enhanced, making it possible to capture additional parameters of handling units and improve data transparency across the supply chain.
Supporting the client during its transition to 1C ERP was another important part of the partnership. The NOYTECH team configured system integrations and ensured the correct transmission of EDI messages between the systems. Following the launch, the team also helped implement new capabilities for tracking product flows and managing inventory movements.
In addition, an automated pallet tracking system based on RECADVICE was introduced. This eliminated the need for manual recording of returned pallets and improved the accuracy of tracking returnable packaging and pallets.
As the volume of finished goods stored increased, NOYTECH also prepared a warehouse complex in Lobnya to meet Lorenz's requirements. The project included LEAD WMS configuration, as well as adjustments to storage zones and racking parameters based on the specific characteristics of the client's products.
